Your journey to selfcare starts here! Welcome to Meridian Skin Studio LLC. Located inside the Salt & Sage Healing Collective in beautiful Bluffton, SC. My name is Angela and I'm a Licensed Esthetician and wellness practitioner. I created my business to be a place to hold space for other women. I specialize in mature skin and age management concerns. My mission is to deliver exceptional skin transformations by honoring the mind-body connection. My services are more than a facial, they're an experience in relaxation and self-care. My commitment to your skin's health is why I utilize clean, clinical and organic skin care lines. Every treatment I design is an opportunity for you to quiet your mind, honor your body, and experience high performance skincare that leaves you feeling as vibrant on the inside as you look on the outside. My journey into wellness led me to study mindfulness, meditation, and nervous system regulation. As a stay at home mom for many years, I found myself burnt out, overweight, and stressed to the point of developing alopecia and chronic hives. I loved my life and my family, but I wasn't prioritizing myself or my health. My skin was a mess, and I developed terrible cystic acne. My journey to improving my health was a slow process that involved changing my relationship with food, exercise and therapy with a focus on Internal Family Systems. I participated in an intensive 9 month healing trauma course online and then went on to take an additional course on mindfulness and meditation. I realized through this journey that skin health is a reflection of our internal state, and that a calm nervous system is just as vital to a glowing complexion as what we put on our skin. When I decided to return to the work force, I thought about how I could use my experience to help other women and that led me to esthetics. I'm proud to say that at the age of 50, I returned to school to become a Licensed Esthetician. I absolutely love what I do and am committed to always improving and expanding my knowledge of esthetics and wellness practices.
